By booking Meraki Jazz, you agree to the terms set out below
Meraki Jazz are booked once a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received and confirmed. Dates are not saved without a deposit.
The remaining 50% is due 1 month before the event.
If the full balance is left unpaid after 3 reminders, the booking will be cancelled and deposit kept.
If the full balance is left unpaid 72hrs before the band's arrival time at the event, the booking is automatically cancelled and deposit kept.
If the event is less than 1 month away, payment in full is required to book.
All details must be finalised for an accurate price before a deposit is taken and booking made. We may not be able to accommodate changes after the deposit is taken. If we are able to accommodate changes, there may be a surcharge priced at the band leader's discretion payable as part of the full balance due 1 month before the event.
We may not be able to accommodate changes or delays to the schedule on the day and performance time may be missed. If we are able to accommodate a change on the day, there may be a surcharge priced at the band leaders discretion payable by invoice following the event.
Anything up to our standard performance time of 2x1hr sets / 120mins in total is charged at the same rate.
As standard, our prices include 4hrs on site in one location. If we are needed to stay for longer this for any reason or change locations between sets, there will be a surcharge.
Deps may be used for any reason, including vocalists. Any deps used will be like for like in quality.
Meraki Jazz can take up to 3 unknown songs requests. These must be submitted at least 6 weeks before the event. We may be unable to perform requests submitted later than this or on the day.
1hr is required to set up. If we are unable to begin our set up 1hr before we are due to play, there may be a delay to the start time. We may make some noise with a sound or line check during set up.
A green room is required for the band.
Parking is to be paid for by the client by way of an invoice with receipts following the event. If possible, parking is to be provided for the band at the venue.
We ask for soft drinks and a hot meal to be provided for the band and at least half an hour allowed to eat from the time of the food being served. If the food is served late, this may cut into performance time.
If you are unable to provide a meal, a £20 per member meal buyout fee applies.
Performance space must be sufficient. We require 4mx3m for the quintet or quartet and 3mx2m for the trio or duo. If playing outside, a gazebo or tent needs to be provided in case of any rain. This should be at least an extra 2m of coverage overhead in both width and length. If we cannot fit in the performance space or coverage is not sufficient to protect the band and equipment from any adverse weather, we may not be able to perform or may have to stop the performance. In this case no refund will be given.
We must be located near to 2 power sockets and we may need to run extension cables.
Guest are not permitted to touch our equipment and instruments or enter into our performance space without permission from the band leader. Any damage incurred will be the client's responsibility.
Any interfering, inappropriate or abusive behaviour from guests is not tolerated and will result in the performance being stopped with no refund given.
